Vitamin D plays an important role in keeping your bones, muscles, and immune system healthy.
If you're not getting enough vitamin D from food or sunlight, a supplement may be helpful. However, MORE is NOT always better. Taking high doses of vitamin D for a long time can lead to excess calcium in the blood, which may cause nausea, kidney stones, kidney damage, or heart rhythm problems.

Before starting a vitamin D supplement—or taking higher doses—talk with your healthcare provider or pharmacist. Your vitamin D needs depend on your age, medical conditions, medications, diet, and blood test results.

We'll be closing a little early on Friday, July 3rd so our team can set up our booth for the First Friday Downtown Milford Independence Day Celebration!

We care about our patients, and if you have any urgent medication needs, our phone line will remain open so we can assist you and make sure you don’t miss anything important.
