I am thrilled to announce that The Garden Reproductive Health is now offering home-based Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) & Fertility Counseling on Oahu!

As a Licensed Midwife (LM, CPM) my role is to provide the clinical expertise and dedicated support needed to help you navigate your conception journey in the space where you feel most at peace. Your home.

Preconception Education: Clinical intake sessions focused on logistics, body literacy, and reproductive autonomy.

Fertility Cycle Tracking: Collaborative guidance on monitoring your unique fertility markers to identify your optimal window.

Professional S***m Processing: On-site s***m washing.

On-Call Availability: Dedicated "on-call" status during your fertility window to ensure timely insemination.

The Hawai‘i State LGBTQ+ Commission invites you to the 2nd Annual Q***r Day at the Capitol.

This year we have added educational panels that will take place in the Capitol Auditorium - Chamber Level.

Morning Panel:
9 - 10:30 AM - Healthcare, Not Politics: The Case for Gender-Affirming Care which will be led by Hawai'i Health & Harm Reduction Center

Afternoon Panel:
2 - 3:30 PM - From Policy to Protection: Defending Q***r Lives Against Federal Attacks which will be led by the ACLU Hawai‘i

The Community Resource Fair will bring together our Māhū, LGBTQIA+, QTPI+, MVPAFF+ communities, allies, and state leaders to highlight the incredible services and resources available to Hawai‘i’s rainbow community. It’s an opportunity to celebrate, educate, and advocate at the heart of our state government.

📍 Location: Hawai‘i State Capitol – 4th Floor (415 S. Beretania Street)

What you need to know to attend to attend - Q***r Day:
- Photo ID is required for entry into the building.
- Limited paid public parking is available at the Capitol, entrance via Miller Street off Punchbowl.
- Additional public parking is available at State lots: Lot V (Vineyard Garage on Punchbowl); Lot G (Kalanimoku Building on Beretania & Punchbowl); and Lot L (Kinau Hale Building on Punchbowl).
- Bike racks are located on the Ewa makai corner of the Capitol grounds (the Iolani Palace and Richards St. corner), and Biki bike stations nearby.
- Several bus routes can bring you to the Capitol.
- Only Service Animals are permitted at the Capitol

I’m thrilled to announce that The Garden Reproductive Health LLC is now a recognized HMSA provider! 🥂

What does this mean for you?
To ensure I can provide the high-touch, unhurried care you deserve, I remain a self-pay practice. However, you can now submit my services to HMSA for potential reimbursement! 🌺

As a licensed CPM, I handle the clinical care. At the end of our time together (6 weeks postpartum), I provide you with a professional 'Superbill' to send to HMSA. It’s the same personalized home-birth experience you’re looking for, now with a path to get some of your investment back. ✍️

By staying 'non-participating,' I keep my autonomy to spend hours with you in labor at home, not minutes with you in a clinic or hospital.

The Details: As a non-participating provider, my fees are paid in full to the practice at the time of service. Any insurance reimbursement checks go directly to you! 💸

Think of it as the best of both worlds: Private, boutique care with a medical paperwork 'bonus' for your wallet. It’s a win-win!

The Newborn Hearing Screening basics👂
When: Within the first 7 days of life. 🏠
Where: In the comfort of your own home. 🛡️
Why: To screen for hearing needs early and provide support for your baby's communication development from day one.

How it works: It’s quick, painless, and usually done while your baby is sleeping!

I use a specialized machine provided by the Hawaii Newborn Hearing Screening Program.
