The Hawai‘i State LGBTQ+ Commission invites you to the 2nd Annual Q***r Day at the Capitol.
This year we have added educational panels that will take place in the Capitol Auditorium - Chamber Level.
Morning Panel:
9 - 10:30 AM - Healthcare, Not Politics: The Case for Gender-Affirming Care which will be led by Hawai'i Health & Harm Reduction Center
Afternoon Panel:
2 - 3:30 PM - From Policy to Protection: Defending Q***r Lives Against Federal Attacks which will be led by the ACLU Hawai‘i
The Community Resource Fair will bring together our Māhū, LGBTQIA+, QTPI+, MVPAFF+ communities, allies, and state leaders to highlight the incredible services and resources available to Hawai‘i’s rainbow community. It’s an opportunity to celebrate, educate, and advocate at the heart of our state government.

📍 Location: Hawai‘i State Capitol – 4th Floor (415 S. Beretania Street)
We will have over 30 exhibitors!

What you need to know to attend to attend - Q***r Day:
- Photo ID is required for entry into the building.
- Limited paid public parking is available at the Capitol, entrance via Miller Street off Punchbowl.
- Additional public parking is available at State lots: Lot V (Vineyard Garage on Punchbowl); Lot G (Kalanimoku Building on Beretania & Punchbowl); and Lot L (Kinau Hale Building on Punchbowl).
- Bike racks are located on the Ewa makai corner of the Capitol grounds (the Iolani Palace and Richards St. corner), and Biki bike stations nearby.
- Several bus routes can bring you to the Capitol.
- Only Service Animals are permitted at the Capitol
