✨ What if becoming a better negotiator starts with understanding your nervous system?
I joined Cindy Watson on The Art of Feminine Negotiation podcast to discuss how stress influences the way we communicate, make decisions, set boundaries, and step into our power.
🧠 We talked about:
• How we experience power and choice
• The good side (and bad side) of stress
• When achievement becomes self-betrayal
• How your stress personality impacts relationships and boundaries
• What chronic stress does to intuition
• How to train your nervous system to navigate uncertainty with greater ease
As a neurologist, I've learned that stress isn't the enemy. It's information.
When we understand our nervous system, we can stop reacting from survival mode and start responding from a place of clarity, confidence, and purpose.
💭 Which part resonates most with you: stress, intuition, boundaries, or personal power?
🎙️ Listen to the episode and let me know your biggest takeaway.

55 years around the sun 🌞✨ Thank you for all of the wishes! Grateful for all of you! ❤
This birthday + Mother’s Day weekend felt like the perfect blend of inspiration, restoration, nature, family, and joy.
It began with seeing Mel Robbins with my daughter Ariya - such an energizing way to kick things off. From there, I leaned into an Ayurvedic reset, slowing down enough to truly recharge mind, body, and spirit.
Then the family fun began… my sister Dipti and niece Anika joined us for an unforgettable few days filled with laughter, connection, and adventure. Dinner at Burma Love, breathtaking coastal meals overlooking the Bay Area, poolside moments, and one of the highlights - celebrating my 55th surrounded by the majestic redwoods at Muir Woods National Monument. There’s something incredibly grounding about walking among trees that have stood for centuries. 🌲
We wrapped it all up the best way possible -tacos in Dolores Park at Ariya’s favorite spot, followed by ice cream and soaking in the simple magic of being together. ❤️ Then Dipti and I had sister time at the Waterbar restaurant along the bay.
At 55, I feel more grateful than ever for experiences over things, for health, for family, for nature, and for the moments that remind us to fully live.
Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂

An unforgettable evening of music, community, and purpose 🎹✨

Grateful to be part of a beautiful night at the Lexus dealership supporting Family Service Center (FSC) - a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening mental health and emotional well-being for individuals and families in our community.

The energy in the room was incredible - two pianos, endless talent, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

“Dueling Pianos for One Cause” brought people together in the most joyful way, reminding us how powerful community can be when we show up for one another 💫

Here’s to more nights like this—where music meets meaning and generosity takes center stage.

Most people are focused on getting more oxygen…

But what if the real power lies in learning to tolerate CO₂?

In this video, I’m sharing a simple but powerful technique inspired by the “Huberman breath” to help improve CO₂ retention—one of the most overlooked keys to better nervous system regulation and higher HRV.

Why does this matter?

CO₂ tolerance isn’t just about breathing—it directly impacts:
• Your stress response
• Your ability to stay calm under pressure
• Oxygen delivery to your tissues
• Heart Rate Variability (HRV), a key marker of resilience and recovery

When you train your breath, you train your brain.

This is where science meets ancient practice—using intentional breathwork to shift your physiology in real time.

Try this for just a few minutes a day and notice what changes.

✨ calmer mind
✨ more control
✨ deeper resilience

Let me know how it feels for you.
