If you schedule a tattoo, piercing, or piece of permanent jewelry this summer this is likely what youāll see!
Iām not your traditional tattoo/piercing studio and I think that sets me apart from your thoughts about them. First and foremost Iām a mama and family is my priority, this is my childrenās home, their safe space, the place they can most be themselves and be kids. Secondly this is where Iāve chosen to make my job happen and I love the flexibility having the studio connected to my house but it does have drawbacks.
So if stepping over scooters, hearing bouncing balls and yelling or laughing children, the potential to get a little wet from a water balloon or super soaker, or a stray child in the vacinity isnāt your vibe thatās 100% okay and I understand there are wonderful studios I can refer you too.
You may also find me covered in sunscreen, hair and makeup a mess or wet from the pool, or my bathing suit still on under my comfy clothes, and not that you wonāt find me like that 75% of my days anyway itās more likely in the summer as I fit my studio hours in inbetween playing with my kids and family life.
However once you step inside I try my best to make my studio clean, safe, and relaxing. I keep an intimate private atmosphere with your favorite show, movie or music playing or we can chat the whole time youāre here or if this is your only quiet time, like me, Iām totally okay if you said āwould you mind if I just sat in silenceā you wonāt hurt my feelings one bit!
I started this studio with interests, new passions, and dreams but if Iām being the most honest I truly needed a work life balance that actually worked. Sometimes we forget how precious time is and just how truly little of it we have, especially with our young children. Iām doing everything in my power to to create a space and services you love and being the mom and wife I want to be!
