Today we're celebrating National Train Your Brain Day!

Your brain loves to learn—and there’s no age limit on trying something new!

Today is a great day to challenge your mind while connecting with others. Try a puzzle with a friend, learn a few words in a new language, explore a new topic, play a favorite game, or share something you know with someone else.

• Work on a puzzle
• Learn something new
• Play a game with others
• Practice a new language
• Join a class or discussion group

Learning together can be just as rewarding as learning something new. Choose an activity that works for you and enjoy the process!

What is something new you’d like to learn?

A lot can grow in a few years.

Today, KANDU supports more than 200 individuals each year through programs including Adult Day Services, employment and prevocational opportunities, habilitation services, and more. These programs create opportunities for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages to build skills, pursue their goals, connect with their community, and live more independently.

Our 2026 Annual Giving Campaign is helping make these opportunities possible. Your support helps provide the programs, services, and experiences that empower individuals to reach their goals and discover what is possible for them.

Help KANDU continue creating opportunities that last. Give to the 2026 Annual Giving Campaign today at https://www.kanduindustries.com/event/2026-annual-giving-campaign/

Meaningful employment is about more than having a position to fill.
People bring time, effort, skills, creativity, reliability, and commitment to the work they do. Those contributions matter.
Creating inclusive employment means creating opportunities where people can use their abilities, grow professionally, and have their work recognized for the value it provides.
Everyone deserves to know that their contribution matters.

Our ISP clients got creative with a colorful button art project! Using a tree swing design as their canvas, they added buttons in all different colors, shapes, and sizes to create the leaves and bring each tree to life.

Projects like this are a fun way to encourage creativity, focus, and fine motor skills while giving everyone the chance to put their own personal touch on their artwork.
