Lifestyle medicine is not sexy. Lab testing, supplements, fancy gadgets? These things sound cool and bring in money. And don't get me wrong, many (but not all) have their time and place. However, if we don't have the foundations of health addressed first, then all those shiny objects are not going to ultimately result in you feeling good, at least not long term.
Targeted testing and supplementation can be incredibly helpful, but let's work on the biggest needle movers of all, things like nutrition, gut health, stress, sleep and movement.
It sounds too simple, right? Wrong. Addressing the foundations of health is the #1 that ultimately improves how people feel and sets up a base for healing so that all the specifics and extras actually work. But it can feel really overwhelming of where to start.
