Congratulations Dr. Max Krucoff on your R21 NIH grant! This two-year grant focuses on developing a novel, intracranial electrical stimulation technique that can remap brain network relationships to move critical functions away from invasive tumors so that these tumors can be surgically removed safely and more completely. We can't wait to see your results!

This past weekend we celebrated the 16th annual Strain for the Brain event. A huge thanks goes out to the MCW clinical and research teams and our planning committee for putting together a fantastic event year after year. Because of their hard work behind the scenes, Strain for the Brain had another successful year of fundraising through our silent auction, apparel store, and race website and teams. Thank you to the 2,200+ who came out to support our 100+ Warriors at the 16th annual Strain for the Brain event today! An absolutely incredible morning!

We’re just 2 days away from the big race 🏃‍♂️! The forecast is looking perfect — mid-60s with some sunshine ☀️

So far, we’re expecting more than 2,000 participants to join us this Saturday, and together we’ve already raised nearly $200,000 for brain tumor research!
