945 N 12th Street Milwaukee, WI Since 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers has provided high quality, comprehensive health care and social services to patients of all ages and incomes for residents of the inner-city neighborhoods on Milwaukee’s North Side. An independent non-profit organization, Progressive CHC now operates in four locations with over 100 full time employees, saw over 25,000 health visits in 2015, and is the main source of medical care for over 19,000 patients who rely on the Medicaid program. Our comprehensive services include adult and pediatric medicine, behavioral health services, social services, women’s health, HIV and STD prevention and treatment, and an assortment of other services including radiology, mammography, nutritional counseling and specialty care for our patients.

Our brand-new retail pharmacy, Progressive Community RX, is officially opening to the public on Monday, October 26th! Located on the Lower Level of our Lisbon Avenue Health Center, we are thrilled to bring convenient, high-quality pharmacy services directly to our neighbors.

Building a stronger, healthier Milwaukee through partnership! 🦷✨

We are proud to highlight our ongoing collaboration with the Marquette University School of Dentistry! By hosting dental student externs directly in our clinics, we are training the next generation of providers while delivering compassionate, essential care to our neighbors.

Our Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Timolin Boyd, shares what makes this connection so vital:

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗

At PCHC, we are dedicated to promoting life-saving screenings discussions and creating a supportive environment for our patients and team.

Our Women’s Health Department set the tone this month with a fun, memorable sign: “Check Your Pumpkins 4 Lumpkins!” 🎃 It’s a great example of how creative, compassionate care makes essential screenings approachable for our community.

We love how our staff uses creative care to make preventative health feel approachable, warm, and welcoming.

Breast cancer touches so many families in our community, making early detection and peer support so vital. Share this with a friend, family member, or colleague to schedule their routine screening this month.
