Material Studios + Gallery Creating a sustainable space for artists to create, promote and sell their work. Material Studios + Gallery is 6900+ square feet of creative space.

Respected Milwaukee artist Pamela Anderson, is the Director of Material. Located in the Marshall Building in downtown Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The artists and organizations that comprise Material Studios + Gallery are listed below. Mission Statement: Material Studios + Gallery is a space for artists to create, produce, and develop their entrepreneurial practice. We offer the community an intimate look into the process of creating, the opportunity to develop a relationship with the artists, along with contributing to their success. Material also houses arts organizations that fuel the health and well being of the local economy. MARN is bringing back its artist workshops, and the first one has officially been announced!

With so many talented artists working across so many different disciplines here in the Greater Milwaukee area, we know how valuable opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, explore new techniques, and grow professionally can be.

I encourage all of you to explore MARN's returning educational programming and take advantage of the opportunities ahead.

One of the greatest strengths of our creative community is the knowledge, experience, and inspiration we share with one another. There's always something new to discover, no matter where we are in our artistic journeys.

*Karie Brittain is our featured artist with a new dynamic series of sculptures that we can't wait for you to see
*We're showcasing a grouping of 6x6" artworks under $100 to start or add to your art collection by multiple studio artists
*NEW and visiting artists in our studio, TiniER Gallery and lots of NEW works by ALL Materialites
