To our valued patients,
April 2, 2024 our full time hygienist took a leave of absence. What we thought was going to be temporary, unfortunately, turned out to be a permanent injury. Hygiene appointments are booked six months out. This left us with scheduled appointments and no hygienist. Our part time hygienist added more hours and Dr. Josh has started to do cleanings as well. We are doing everything we can to get people appointments. If we get a cancellation, we immediately call patients that have been moved to get them in sooner.
Since April we've been trying to find a replacement. We offer competitive wages, paid benefits, 401K and paid vacation but still cannot find anyone that is a good fit for our practice. We can't just hire anyone. The person needs to be reliable, friendly, and appreciate our patients. Boran Dental has placed multiple ads, reached out to schools, and temp agencies to help us find the right employee and have been unsuccessful. If anyone knows of a hygienist looking for work, please send them our way!
We apologize, we know this is inconvenient. We would like to thank our patients for understanding our difficult situation and being patient while we resolve this issue.
For the few patients who are upset, please remember this is the same practice that will fit you in the same day if you are in pain. We also have an emergency number for patients who develop pain over the weekend in order to be able to call them in prescriptions to make you more comfortable. If you have gone to any other practice, you know we go above and beyond to make sure your visit here is a positive experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office, we will be happy to help you.
