MyFormulary is a healthy food-tech company with the only patented food “Efficacy Engine®”. Our “Go/No” App is used to determine what foods have medically-proven efficacy in the treatment or prevention of disease. 52% of grocery shoppers read labels to try to determine health benefits or hazards. Comprehension is low and rarely focused on ingredients, which are the mainstay of health. Our App converts label readers to label scanners, delivering reliable instant scientific results. Where the App delivers a No recommendation, healthy alternatives are shown. Users are rewarded with cash, coupons and benefits for making healthy choices.
OVERVIEW
The Mobile App Developer will play a significant role in rolling out our first Mobile App. They will work directly with our CIO, CMO and Chief Architect and collaborate with other developers in the company. This position requires strong technical knowledge in iOS and Android application development, ideally in Google Flutter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop, test and maintain mobile software solutions that deliver on project technical and timing objectives
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure and maintain source code quality
• Demonstrate accountability through timely deliverables via agile sprints
• Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, results)
• Configure mobility solution for maximum performance and use
• Analyze business requirements and design/develop technical solutions optimal to the business needs.
• Work in a team environment to develop, test, and publish changes.
• Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and performance of the applications.
• Able to multi-task and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.
• They may work remotely or on-site in Minneapolis
• All code must be developed on our servers and all changes to code must be deposited to GitHub daily
REQUIREMENTS
• Innovative thinker and problem solver willing to push the limits of existing technology
• Experience with Google’s Flutter, including UI development
• Experience working in the healthcare industry and an understanding of HIPPA and privacy concerns
• Knowledgeable in web technologies including Dart, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, and REST
• Knowledgeable in server-based technologies from cloud-provider technologies
• Experience implementing both image and database encryption solutions
• English as a first language
