Wrapping up the first ISWP Intermediate Wheelchair Provider Course in Peru; an amazing collaboration made this happen. Eleanore's Project has always focused on building capacity and sustainability. This week has been a milestone - demonstrating there is no longer a need for us to bring therapists from North America to do this work. The Yancana Huasy therapists have got it well in hand! And a larger network of Peruvian therapists are taking this knowledge back to their communities.

Here is our dream team of techs, who are working behind the scenes assessing and giving new life to wheelchairs in the Yancana Huasy inventory. Rufino is the amazing Yancana Huasy tech, but only has one pair of hands and sometimes more are needed to get the job done!
