Summer nights. What an absolute vibe it is to experience North Country in the heat of our warmest days. When cities are just too hot to enjoy outdoors, we escape to the woods and lakes. Between Minnesota and a few of our surrounding states, there are 37,000+ lakes for refuge - all offering a chance to connect with nature, find peace, and cool off a bit.

As we set our gaze to the north, an overwhelming feeling of calm rushes through us. The vastness of these waters, the magnitude of this much open space - puts us right where we need to be, back in alignment with our nature.

There’s so much life here. We can hear it, feel it in us, smell it, taste it. The birds passing overhead tell us. The waves crashing scream it to us. The cold waters welcome us in to come and feel it.

Let them. All we have to do here is sit quietly, open our ears, and be present. No phones, social media, or chaos from the outside world are allowed here.

There’s nothing quite like that first lake swim of the season. Water temps in the 40s, loons returning and calling, eagles circling and nesting, trees just barely budding - everything just feels so alive and ready to live it up. It’s not comfortable by any means, but it will wake you up to all of the life that’s happening around you. 🌱

Welcome springtime, hello Forest Fields. 🌼

There’s nothing quite like the smell of a Midwest meadow in the peak of spring. The aromas of a time and warmth returning that have been so missed since winter rolled in to put everything to rest. It forces us to breathe deeper, and an awareness for what surrounds us returns.

Forest Fields is our celebration of spring, rebirth, and awakening. Brewed with blood orange, chamomile flowers, ginger, sumac, and mineralized sea salt - it’s warming, awakening, and subtly present.

Happy World Sauna Day. 🔥 🌊

Our focus today is on the gratitude we have for the sauna community. Grassroots social groups, businesses, events, brands, and experiences are popping up all over the globe - all in an effort to take back some intentional time from our stressful and chaotic world. Sauna has been part of the human experience for more than 10,000 years, and we couldn’t be more aligned with all the good it brings.
