This is what toe splay looks like.

Sandals give each toe room to spread naturally instead of forcing the forefoot into a tapered shape. Put that same foot over a conventional sneaker and the difference is obvious.

Your toes were designed to move. Does your footwear give them enough space?

A toe box shouldn’t squeeze your toes into a point. Once you notice it, you can’t unsee it.
