Please check your sunscreen's expiration date before using it this summer. Did you know that sunscreen typically has a 3 year shelf life IF stored CORRECTLY? Most even expire 12 months after opening, again if stored correctly! 😜

The perfect way to store your bottle of sunscreen is in a cool, dry place. If that bottle from last year you just grabbed isn't expired but sat on the boat the whole summer or was a regular in the lake bag for hours and hours it may be time for a new bottle. Exposure to hot and humid conditions can quickly break down many of the active ingredients that block UV rays.

We seriously can't stress enough how important SPF is for your skin!

UV exposure is a major cause of premature aging, collagen breakdown, increased melanin production, and triggers the generation of free radicals.🥴 Even with otherwise great skincare habits, protecting your skin from the sun on the daily (even when it's chilly or gloomy out) is necessary to preserving your results & skin health.
