Sometimes healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about teaching your mind and body that it’s okay to feel safe again.
Safe to rest without guilt. Safe to speak up. Safe to trust yourself.
Safe to set boundaries. Safe to experience joy without expecting something to go wrong.
Many of our beliefs and reactions were learned over time. The good news is that new patterns can be learned too.
Just as the mind can learn fear, it can learn safety.
Sometimes it’s simply responding differently than you did yesterday.
Be patient with yourself. Feeling safe again is something you rebuild, one step at a time.
