Yes, Sis. I eat carbs. And if you’re working on building muscle, they deserve a place on your plate, too. 😉🥣

Protein helps build and repair muscle. Carbohydrates help fuel the work!

Your body stores carbs as glycogen—energy your muscles use during exercise. Eating carbs also helps replenish those stores after training, especially when your workouts are long or close together.

That’s why oats, fruit, rice, potatoes, and whole-grain bread can all fit into a routine that supports your strength goals. 💪

Keep it simple:
🥣 Oats + Greek yogurt + berries
🍌 A banana + yogurt
🍚 Rice + chicken or tofu + vegetables

Your needs will vary with your training and goals. Start with balanced meals and enough nourishment to support the work you’re doing.

You’re building a body that can carry your dreams. Give it fuel. ❤️

What’s your favorite carb? Mine today is coming by the spoonful! 👇

Hey Sis, let’s talk about breaking the fast. 🥣💛

Breakfast is your first meal after an overnight stretch without food—a chance to give your body fuel and nourishment for the day ahead.

But is it really the “most important meal of the day”?

It can be an important part of YOUR routine. It’s also one part of your overall nutrition. What you eat throughout the day matters, too.

If skipping breakfast leaves you hungry, distracted, or scrambling for something to eat later, try planning a satisfying morning meal and notice how you feel. If you’re not hungry immediately after waking, you can give yourself some time.

My coaching tip: build a breakfast with protein, fiber-rich carbohydrates, and some healthy fat. ✨

These Blueberry Banana Chia Seed Oats bring that combination together:
🥣 Oats and fruit for carbohydrates and fiber
🤍 Greek yogurt for protein
🌱 Chia seeds for fiber and healthy fats

Simple ingredients. A little preparation. One way to make caring for yourself easier.

Swipe for the recipe, and save it for your next breakfast! 👉

Are you team sweet breakfast, savory breakfast, or “coffee and I’ll figure it out later”? 😉 Tell me below!

You deserve a place where you can show up for yourself—and feel supported while you do. ❤️

Nutritious food and regular movement are meaningful parts of your wellness journey. So are connection, encouragement, and having people in your corner.

That’s what makes group fitness special, especially for women who spend so much of their day caring for others.

It’s someone learning your name. A familiar face beside you. An instructor helping you recognize what you’re capable of. And that little extra motivation to show up when your own motivation is running low.

Confidence can grow here, too. We learn from one another, celebrate progress, and challenge ourselves without turning someone else’s journey into a measuring stick. There’s room for everyone to grow.

When so much of life keeps us busy and apart, coming together can fill our spirits. At the barre, you can set down your work title and your to-do list for a while. You can be YOU.

Come join me and our team at Pure Barre Fishers. Bring your goals, your questions, and yourself exactly as you are. We’ll welcome you, help you find your footing, and cheer you on.

You might come for the workout and find friendships that keep you coming back. ❤️

Hey Sis, you’re asking a lot of your body. Let’s give it something to work with. 💛

Salmon brings protein, omega-3 fats, vitamin D, and B12 to the table—all in one delicious meal.

Keep it simple: pair it with vegetables and rice or potatoes. Nourishing yourself doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the kitchen.

You’re fueling the woman you’re becoming. One meal at a time.

How do you like your salmon—baked, grilled, or air-fried? Tell me below! 👇

I went to Vermont to see the fall colors. I came home realizing how much I needed to put myself back into the life I’m living. 🍂

Hey Sis, have you ever been so busy taking care of everyone and everything that you forgot to ask, “What do I really want?”

That was me.

Even with people encouraging me to go, I had a whole list of reasons why I couldn’t possibly take the time. But I went—and somewhere between the hiking, laughter, and quiet, I started feeling like myself again.

I shared the story on Substack, including the messy moments and what I’m bringing home with me.

If you’ve been putting your own needs and joy on hold until everything else is handled, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read it.

Putting Myself Back Into the Life I’m Living What a trip to Vermont taught me about asking, “What do I really want?” Hey Sis, When was the last time you asked yourself what you wanted—and gave yourself enough quiet to answer? I’ve been sitting with that question. I followed the plan so man...
