I’ll never forget the pride in the first time I had tattooed service ribbons on a soldier. Only to hear a few short months later that after he fought so bravely over seas for our freedoms he lost the battle of the toll it takes on ones heart and mind to live with what has to be done for us to live free, peaceful lives.
Remember not only those who have sacrificed over seas but the brave men and women who battle even after coming back.
