Anyone else experiencing a bit of back-to-school whip lash? How did summer fly by already?
I sure did make watermelon soap in June, thinking I would sell it in July, whilst eating watermelon and soaking up the long gorgeous days of summer.
Alas, it’s nearly September and these soaps are just now getting out the door.

This holiday soap season has been amazing! 🎄

Most of the soap I make uses hand-rendered lard, as this white creamy oil is a perfect substitute for palm and makes an incredible lather and super hard bar over time.
That said, I do make soap without lard! This post features the two varieties available this season both using a lovely blend of jojoba, h**p, coconut, olive and castor oils as well as shea and cocoa butters. The moisture content is off-the-charts and feels amazing to use.
