Most people use a leg press for just that, a leg press. But did you know that doing something as simple as changing your foot position can change what you are targeting?
“Normal” foot placement-Feet parallel and shoulder width feet apart is best for overall leg development hitting, quads, inner/outer thighs, and glutes relatively equally.
Wide foot placement-This foot placement emphasizes inner thigh development, helping get that “wider” overall leg look.
Narrow Stance-This foot placement helps round out the outer thighs for the widest look possible.
High Feet-Speaking of rounding out, this foot placement helps target those glutes and hamstrings to help you make those husky jeans, look like skinny jeans.
Finally, Low Feet-Specifically target the quads.
Now what if you want even more ideas for the simple leg press, what about calf raise or another b***y builder with Single Leg Press’?
