We are home 🙌🏻
It may be awhile before she back to her baseline but she is so much better than what she was at arrival !
I’m keeping a wet diaper count and how many cups she drinks log .
Additionally to my already seizure and vital signs log I already keep daily .
Since they unhooked her from the IV and she would drink and have a wet diaper they said I could take her home .

It’s late but here’s an update .
Ellie -Ann has an intestinal infection due to Ecoli. 😞 thankfully the IV fluids have been helping make her feel better and keeping her hydrated. She had a good couple of hours today where she was herself and playful .
Now she’s very fussy, and shaky. They also upped her seizure medicine tonight and added in an extra medication to take as needed when she is sick.
She’s had 5 now since being here.

Fingers crossed we get some kind of sleep tonight ….. goodnight

We still do not have a confirmation on what is wrong with Ellie .
She is still on IV fluids getting a bag an hour :
Still having diarrhea 3 times an hour …
She is not eating and on a liquid diet
Her heart rate has been extremely high even while sleeping.
Her urine showed dehydration last night even after getting fluids.
Because she is still in diapers it has been hard to collect a stool sample, so now she has a bag on to catch it so it can be tested.
Regardless of what the stool sample shows she is still not well enough to come home until she can come off the fluids and stay hydrated .
This afternoon they may take her off the fluids to see how she does, but that is all for now .
Continue to pray for her ❤️

UPDATE WE HAVE BEEN ADMITTED:
Ellie Ann has been sick since Saturday evening with what seems to be a stomach virus. I thought she was finally getting better after a good night of sleep, but unfortunately, she was still getting sick this morning.
I brought her into CHOG around 11 AM, and after trying to keep fluids down by mouth failed , it was time for an IV.
After multiple failed IV attempts — and a seizure in the middle of one of the tries — they finally got an IV in. She’s resting now, and I’m really hoping the fluids will help her feel better soon !
As of right now, we have NOT been admitted. We’re just being monitored.

The girls fell asleep while watching a movie the other night and felt Ellie starting to twitch . This is is a short seizure after I put her in the bed she was having convulsions and I could feel the bed shake .

What it looks like after having a seizure .
At one time her oxygen got down into the 80s and her heart rate 60.
These are all from last night and she was finally having steady regular sats around 5am.
So for the ones that ask me . Yes Ellie is still having issues. Some you can’t see and some I take care of at home.
It’s so frustrating I wish I could fix my baby .
