💙✨ August Was JAM-PACKED With Fun! ✨💙

Whew! Our friends have been BUSY this month! 😄 From making memories at the State Fair to giving back to our community, August was full of fun, friendship, and making a difference! 🙌

🎡 State Fair Fun!
Our Day Program attended the State Fair during Access Day! This is always a highlight for many of our individuals. Having the accessibility, support, and guidance they need allows everyone to enjoy the sights, sounds, food, and fun of the fair! 🎠🍭 We had a GREAT time!

🍽️ Serving Our Community
We were happy to spend some time giving back through Meals on Wheels! There’s nothing better than helping others and being part of our amazing community. 💙

🧹 Keeping Downtown Clean!
Our Day Program rolled up their sleeves and helped pick up trash downtown around local businesses. And WOW—our crew collected 6 bags of trash! 🗑️👏 Way to go, everyone! We love seeing our friends making a positive impact in the community!

👕 Dare to Be Different!
We wrapped up the month by rocking our ICAN-themed shirts featuring our message: “Dare to Be Different.” 💙✨ And honestly, we wouldn’t want it any other way! Our differences are what make each of us unique and special.

What a month! 🎉 We’re so proud of all our friends and everything they accomplished in August.

Last week, our leadership team attended the Tiered Support Summit hosted by the Department of Mental Health, where ICAN was honored with the “Collaboration and Partnership in Tier 2 Systems” award.

We are incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud of the collaborative work happening across our organization. We remain committed to strengthening and refining our Tier 2 systems so that we can provide meaningful, proactive support to those we serve.

Tier 2 supports help us build systems that promote safety planning, strengthen prevention, and provide responsive support during times of crisis.

We are honored to be recognized and look forward to continuing this important work together. 💙

🤠🐎 Our Day Program attended the Sturgeon Summer Days Rodeo and had an absolute BLAST! 🎉

There were plenty of smiles, excitement, and great memories made. We love getting out in the community and enjoying fun experiences together! ❤️

We are so grateful to be apart of the Smart Start Back to School Fair again this year! It was so wonderful to see so many kids excited to receive backpacks, supplies and shoes for the new school year. Thank you Family Life Fellowship for hosting this event! 😊
