He came to me with plantar fasciitis.
So we worked on his foot… right?
No.
We looked at his whole body.
His spinal and pelvic position had changed significantly—and that translated into changes in how he ran, including his foot strike.
Instead of chasing the pain in his foot, we looked at why his foot was being overloaded in the first place.
The result?
His plantar fasciitis symptoms went away, and he was able to run without the pain.
Sometimes the place that hurts isn’t the place where the problem starts.
Pain isn’t always the problem.
Sometimes it’s the messenger.
