Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us today at the Tanner Williams Farmers Market. As always, we had the best day visiting with everyone and catching up with all yāall.
There are many reasons why I love this market so much, but Iād definitely say the first on that list is the strong sense of community that hums through the crowd on market days. I truly love getting to serve the folks who come out there looking for us month after month. I donāt take that lightly at all. When I hear your troubles, your successes, your health goals, and everything in between, I will always care and want to help as best I can. Being your herbalist gives my life such purpose, and I am honored beyond words.
These last several months have been hard for our family, and Iāll be honest and tell ya that there have been days when I was so thick in the worry and despair of our circumstances that I questioned the point of doing any of this. God knows I have cried out and spent more time praying for the strength to keep going and keep showing up, and each time I do, I am blessed tenfold.
Not only with loyal customers who help support our family, but with friends who care about us, neighbors who support us, and a community whose steadfastness lends me strength and inspiration. We love yāall big time.
I want to shout out a few vendors I love and share some of the things we got today at the market!
First, Through It All Designs. Mrs. April hand sews the most purposeful items that have become staples in our house. These little soup bowl cozies are a must for hot bowls. Iāve gotten several from her, and some Iāve had for years. They hold up so well! She also makes aprons, purses, bowl covers, and so much more. Please check her out!
Another vendor we got the chance to support today was Grace and Grain Homestead. We purchased some of their cheddar and jalapeƱo sourdough, and it is the best weāve had yet! We enjoyed it tonight with a hearty bowl of vegetable soup, and it was beyond divine.
We also grabbed some Mayhaw jelly from another sweet vendor and itās so tasty I canāt wait to fix some biscuits with it in the morning. š„°
There are so many incredible makers at this sweet little country market, and I hope youāll come out and see us sometime! The market happens every third Saturday of the month through December, I believe.
Thank yāall again for loving on us, supporting us, and continuing to show up. It means more than I could ever adequately put into words. š¤
