And if game day gets a little too physical, we’ve got you covered! OrthoASAP is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for convenient orthopaedic walk-in care—no appointment needed.

Meet the Team: Our Phone Room

Before many of our patients ever walk through the doors of The Orthopaedic Group, they’ve already been helped by one of the incredible people on our Phone Room Team.

And “answering the phones” doesn’t begin to describe what they do.

In just five business days, our team managed more than 18,000 calls and nearly 520 hours of talk time! 🤯

They’re also helping process online and faxed referrals, coordinating hospital consults, assisting referring providers, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and helping patients figure out where they need to go next.

That’s a lot of conversations—and a lot of patients being helped. 💙

Today, we’re giving a big shout-out to the people who serve as the voice of The Orthopaedic Group. Thank you for your patience, professionalism, and everything you do to keep our patients and providers connected every single day!

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Courtney Weaver, OTR/L, ECHM, to The Orthopaedic Group!

Courtney is a licensed occupational therapist who helps patients recover from orthopaedic injuries, surgery, and conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and upper extremity.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama.

We’re excited to have Courtney as part of the TOG team and look forward to the expertise and compassionate care she will bring to our patients!

Join us in congratulating Scottie Chappell as the August 2026 Employee of the Month!

Scottie has been a valued member of the TOG cast team for more than 20 years, and his positivity and willingness to help others continue to make a lasting impact among the cast team and our patients. His supervisor, Jennifer Lott, says “Scottie is such a joy and so happy and helpful to every patient that he encounters! He is always willing to cover clinic wherever, whenever, and for whoever. He is truly one of a kind and such an asset to TOG.”

🔥 Things got a little HOT around here yesterday… but thankfully, everyone is ok!

First, THANK YOU to everyone who called, messaged, and checked on our team. Your concern and support mean more than you know. ❤️

We are OPEN and operating with normal business hours today. You may notice a little cleanup around our campuses, but our teams are here and ready to care for you.

If your appointment was canceled yesterday, please know our staff is working hard to get everyone rescheduled as quickly as possible. You can also reschedule your appointment online or give us a call, and we’ll be happy to help.

A huge thank you to our first responders, our incredible TOG and Mobile Surgery Center teams, along with our amazing patients for your patience, flexibility, and understanding.

And yes… the only thing on fire around here today is the bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in our photos. 🔥😉

Important Update – Airport Boulevard Location

Due to unforeseen circumstances, all appointments at our Airport Boulevard location have been canceled for today.

This includes:
• Physician appointments
• Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and Physician Assistant (PA-C) appointments
• MRI appointments
• Physical and Occupational Therapy appointments

OrthoASAP Walk-In Clinic is also closed today and will resume normal hours tomorrow at 8:00 AM.

Our team is working to reschedule affected appointments. If you prefer, you can also request a new appointment online through our website.
