Serving the needs of the Deaf, Blind, and Deaf-Blind from Birth-to-Death in the following Alabama counties: Baldwin, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, and Washington.

We are thrilled to invite our Deaf and Blind community, along with their guests, to an exclusive and inclusive visit to the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center!

This special event is designed to provide a welcoming, supportive space where everyone can discover and enjoy science in a way that is fully accessible and meaningful.

What makes this visit special?

Sensory Considerations: Enjoy a supportive environment featuring reduced crowds, considerate lighting, and adjusted sound.

Tactile Exploration: Engage with hands-on, tactile experiences designed for exploration through touch.

Full Access: SSPs (Support Service Providers) and ASL Interpreters will be provided on-site to ensure full communication access for all participants.

Fall ASL classes are hereโ€”and we are excited to introduce a brand-new ASL for Kids class for ages 5โ€“13!

This fall, we are offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in Mobile, on the Eastern Shore, and online. Classes meet once a week for eight weeks and cost $75.

Registration closes THIS FRIDAY, August 21, 2026! Scan the QR code on the flyer or register at the link provided. You may pay for the class in person on the first night.
