💙 April is Occupational Therapy Month! 💙

Join us in celebrating the incredible Occupational Therapists (OT) across Infirmary Health!

Our OTs provide vital, patient-centered care in our hospitals, outpatient therapy clinics, and rehabilitation facilities, helping patients regain independence and return to the activities that matter most in their daily lives.

From bathing and dressing to driving, meal preparation, and caring for loved ones, our therapists empower patients to rebuild strength, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury.

We’re also proud to share that our OT team was recently honored with the Outstanding Teaching Partner Award by the University of South Alabama Faculty Senate for their dedication to mentoring and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. 🏆

Infirmary Occupational Health welcomes Dr. Frank Francone, M.D. Dr. Francone is a trusted, experienced, and certified occupational medicine physician. Infirmary Occupational Health provides quality occupational health, workers’ compensation injury treatment, and wellness services.

Dr. Francone earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa School of Medicine in Ontario, Canada, and completed his residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. He is board-certified in family medicine. Additionally, Dr. Francone is a certified Medical Review Officer, DOT Certified Medical Examiner, USCIS Civil Surgeon, and FAA Aeromedical Examiner First Class, Second Class and Third Class.
