It feels personal. It’s not though.

Many of the struggles we think are personal failures are actually inherited patterns, cultural conditioning, family stories, and unconscious agreements we never knew we made.

This is Spellbound.

The world needs feminine leadership, we know this, but why does it feel so rare?

We are often told that avoiding conflict mean we are avaoindant, that confrontation is the mature response, but I don't think that's always true.

The woman-to-woman sabotage no one warns you about...

It's usually not gossip. (although that is sometimes a part of it)
It's not obvious competition.
It's that subtle feeling that another woman's success somehow threatens your own.

A prickly feeling when you step forward into the light.

I've seen brilliant women dim their light, criticize another woman, or quietly withdraw. Somewhere along the way they learned there wasn't enough room for all of us.

And the illusion has been part of the hypnotic spell we’re all under.

I don't think this is who we are.
I think it's something we've inherited.

I've been informally studying these hidden patterns in myself and others for years, and they show up differently in different women.

That's exactly why I created the Spellbound Quiz.

What does true feminine leadership look like?

One of the wisest women I've ever met doesn't have a podcast.
She doesn't have a personal brand.
She isn't trying to become an influencer.

I've had the privilege of translating for her during ceremony. She rarely speaks for long. She doesn't need to.

She listens beneath what people are saying and somehow finds the one thread that changes everything.

Her family quietly builds the fire, prepares the food, and tends the space around her. No one questions whether she's the leader.

Outside her community, almost no one knows her name.

It makes me wonder if we've become so accustomed to equating visibility with leadership that we've forgotten how to recognize wisdom when it isn't asking to be seen.

Every Fourth of July we celebrate the names we learned in history class.

The generals. The presidents.
The founders fathers.

But I've been wondering about the leaders whose names we never learned.

The women who held families together while wars were fought.

The grandmothers who preserved traditions when everything else was changing.

The teachers who believed in children no one else saw.

The nurses, caregivers, organizers, neighbors, and community builders whose work rarely ends up in monuments or fireworks.

History often remembers those who held power.

Communities survive because of those who held people.

Maybe freedom isn't only something won on battlefields.

Maybe it's something cultivated every day through courage, honesty, care, and the willingness to keep showing up for one another.
