We are growing to serve the community needs, please visit our website at www.tpqc.org The Project of the Quad Cities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community based organization that was established in 1986 to provide services to those at risk of contractin

g, affected by or living with STI/HIV/AIDS. It is with this mission in mind and our community's best interest at heart, that we provide education, prevention services, and assistance to our clients. We will continue to work diligently to provide education and intervention services to our community, as the rates in TPQC's service area indicate that HIV is not just a "big city" problem.

Gender Affirming Care is an important part of dignified and affirming treatment for trans individuals. Trans people will always deserve care, respect, and dignity. YOU deserve to be yourself.

The Project is here to provide that care with incredible partners like The Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary means celebrating 40 years of the community that got us here! Without our community partners by our side every step of the way, The Project couldn't provide affirming health care and supportive services that promote well-being.

Today we're celebrating with The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center with Thurgood Brooks! The Project is dedicated to health justice and equity in our community, and partners like The MLK Center allow us to work with real people every day to make a difference in everyone's health.

Want to join in on the celebration? You can get one of our 40th anniversary shirts at www.rayguncustom.com/collections/the-project-of-the-quad-cities

Getting STI tested helps keep you and your community healthy, so when should you get tested?

If you are sexually active, it's a good idea to get tested if you have a reason to think you've been exposed to an STI, or every 3 to 12 months, or when switching partners.
