Join nurses from across Wisconsin for a six-month learning experience focused on the legislative process, communicating with policymakers, and building confidence as an advocate. It begins with an in-person kickoff in Madison, followed by live virtual sessions in 2027.

Registration is now open for WNA’s Advocacy and Policy Institute. Join us Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club in Madison.

This six-month learning experience will help nurses build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in legislative and public policy advocacy. Learn how to communicate with policymakers, understand Wisconsin’s legislative process, and advocate for nurses, patients, and communities.

The in-person kickoff will be followed by live virtual learning sessions between January and May 2027.
