I almost wasn’t going to share these because they’re not “perfect,” but then I realized that’s exactly what small business looks like. Handmade means every product is a little different, and that’s part of the beauty of it. ❤️

Lately, my focus has been on healing, yoga events, growing The Bloom Project - MI, and keeping up with life. The creativity hasn’t always been there, but I’ve had a running list of ideas waiting for the right time. A huge thank you to my friend at Black Soul Scents for listening to me talk about these ideas for months and encouraging me along the way, even when she knew I wasn’t quite in the right place to start something new yet.

These are still in the early testing stages. I’ve learned I don’t love the molds, they needed more time to set, and a few adjustments are still needed. But the exciting part? The formula itself is incredible and not your standard bath bomb recipe. ✨

I chose to swap out some traditional ingredients to create a more natural, skin-loving bath bomb. We’re so close, and I can’t wait to share the finished product with you soon! 🤩🛁🌹

As I see more yoga instructors sharing their gifts with the world, it makes me smile because the world needs more of it. 🧘‍♀️🫶

I started attending yoga at 16 during a difficult season of life. What began as a simple Saturday morning class quickly became a lifelong practice. Years later, during another challenging chapter, yoga and mindfulness became the tools that helped me manage my emotions, regulate my nervous system, and find peace when life felt overwhelming.

After more than a decade of practice and four years of teaching, I still lean on yoga and mindfulness regularly, especially on the days when my to-do list feels impossible and stress starts to take over.

The point of sharing this isn’t just my story. It’s to encourage you to start your own journey. Whether it’s with me or one of the many incredible instructors out there, find your people and show up for yourself. The benefits may not be immediate, but they will stay with you for a lifetime.

There’s nothing I love more than spending time in my garden. People probably imagine me sitting out there all day, and honestly, I wish I could! But behind every product is a lot of harvesting, drying, creating, and restocking. 🪴🪏

With this week’s heat, it’s been the perfect time to harvest herbs. The mint is growing faster than I can keep up with, and I’ve been cutting roses left and right before they turn brown in the sun.

After coming inside around 10:00 PM last night, I made a fresh batch of Mint Shower Steamers, and my house smells incredible! 🌿🚿 Some were preordered, but I still have about 6 packs available for porch pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Orders placed from this week-today will ship around NOON.

As we transition from last year’s harvest to this year’s, the website remains stocked, and I restock every summer to offer the freshest herbs and flowers possible.

Made with mint harvested straight from my garden and transformed into a little moment of self-care. ✨

These classes have definitely slowed down this year, but maybe there’s a reason for that. A reminder that we all need to slow down sometimes, whether we’re running the business, teaching the class, or simply navigating life.

While smaller classes can be a little bittersweet after four years of building them, I’m incredibly grateful for those of you who continue to show up and share these moments in nature with me. 🫶🌿

Harvest days with my garden girl! 🪏🐾

We’ve been gardening together for six years, and I’ve loved every season of it with my Dixie. She’s always been my porch dog, but she’ll happily roll around in the dirt and wander through the garden if you let her. She also managed to get herself stuck in a tomato cage the other day. 🤪🥹

Today we gathered mojito mint and peppermint for shower steamers, and they’re as fresh as ever right now! Lavender is slowly coming in and will be making its way into those steamers soon.

We’re always picking roses (and honestly, I can barely keep up with the demand!), and today we started drying sage for a new product coming in a few weeks. We also cut lemongrass, another exciting addition for this summer.

I’ll be honest, I don’t have an exact timeline for when these products will be ready. This is my first time working with some of these herbs, and every handmade product takes time, patience, and a little trial and error. You’ll never see me rush something out overnight because I truly believe in trusting the process and letting it unfold naturally.

It’s a summer full of yoga, meditation, and self-care, and I am here for it! 🧘✨

What a privilege it is to share my certifications through private classes for businesses and their employees. When I became a certified instructor, I knew I didn’t want to own a studio and at the time, I wasn’t exactly sure what that meant, but now I do. Between outdoor nature events, private sessions, and teaching youth, this is exactly where I’m meant to be.

A huge thank you to Amanda Brown and GREEN CLEAN for inviting me to your beautiful backyard to teach for you and your employees. The evening was filled with handmade self-care gifts from Tub Tea by Whitney, yoga, and guided meditation as the sun set around us.

It was truly beautiful and breathtaking. At one point, I had everyone turn on their mats and simply watch the sunset, and I can honestly say that may have been a first for me. What a special evening.

Summer is definitely my busy season! It’s filled with outdoor yoga, private events, conditioning sessions for sports teams, working with Upward Bound at MCCC, harvesting from the garden, and creating new products.

So if you don’t hear from me much, now you know why. 🤪✨

One of the highlights of my summer is teaching yoga and mindfulness to the MHS Golf Team every Wednesday morning. Working with students and athletes is something I hold near and dear to my heart, and having the opportunity to teach the importance of mindfulness at a young age feels like a dream come true.

If you’re following along this summer, thank you for being here and supporting this journey. We’ll be getting back to products soon, including some must have items to help soothe those pesky mosquito bites! 🌿☀️🦟❤️
