As we celebrate National Youth Employment Month this June, we're especially thankful for the nearly 70 young adult employees who help make the Monroe Family YMCA stronger every day! 💙

From Before & After School Care and Aquatics to Youth Sports, the Food Program, Maintenance, and so many other departments, these dedicated team members bring energy, passion, and purpose to everything they do. They are gaining valuable workplace skills, building confidence, and making a lasting impact on our members and community.

We're proud to invest in the next generation of leaders and grateful for the positive difference they make each day. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving others. We truly are , and on this , we're celebrating each and every one of you! 👏✨

We are excited to announce that curbside pick-up is now available for Grab & Go Meal Bundle distributions at Monroe County Community College!

‼️ENTER FROM RAISINVILLE RD: MAIN ENTRANCE ONLY (do not enter through the drives marked North or South Entry) to Parking Lot 2 (Next to the La-Z-Boy Center). Look for YMCA staff and volunteers, who will direct participants through the distribution process in a SINGLE-FILE LINE. See map below for guidance.‼️

Meal bundles will be distributed on Thursdays from 3:00pm–3:30pm, while supplies last. We encourage participants to arrive before distribution begins, as meal bundles are often distributed quickly.

The Monroe Family YMCA is proud to partner with Monroe County Community College to help provide nutritious meals to local families throughout the summer.

Last week, our Summer Camp staff participated in numerous trainings to prepare for an exciting summer ahead. This week, camp officially began, and we are excited to welcome campers for another great summer at the YMCA! ☀️

This past Sunday, our staff participated in our annual Emergency Action Plan training. We’re committed to doing everything we can to keep our members, staff, and community safe while they’re here at the Y.
