You deserve to know what's really in a v**e.

Many va**ng products contain ni****ne, an addictive chemical that can change the developing brain. V**e aerosol can also contain heavy metals, cancer-causing chemicals, ultrafine particles, and other substances that don't belong in your lungs.

The more you know, the easier it is to make informed decisions.

Every practice. Every game. Every possession.

If you're working to improve your game, staying focused matters.

Research shows that ma*****na affects timing, movement, and coordination...skills athletes rely on every time they step onto the court, field, or track. It can also impact concentration and decision-making, making it harder to perform at your best.

Whether you're playing for your school, your community, or just for fun, your greatest advantage is a clear mind and a healthy body.

Stay Focused. Stay Clear. Stay You.

Monroe Police Conduct Alcohol Compliance Checks

On August 20, 2026, Monroe Police, in partnership with the Monroe County Substance Abuse Coalition (MCSAC), conducted Michigan Liquor Control Commission compliance checks at 14 businesses throughout the City of Monroe. The checks focused on preventing the illegal sale of alcohol to minors.

During the operation, an underage decoy attempted to purchase alcohol at each location. Of the 14 businesses checked, 13 successfully passed the compliance check, while one business was found in violation.

The clerk involved in the violation was issued a citation for furnishing alcohol to a minor, and a Liquor Control Commission violation report will be forwarded to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).

These compliance checks are an important part of our ongoing efforts to promote responsible alcohol sales and protect Monroe's youth. Monroe Police appreciates the cooperation of the businesses that followed the law and took the appropriate steps to prevent underage alcohol sales.

We also thank the Monroe County Substance Abuse Coalition for its continued partnership and commitment to reducing underage drinking in our community.
