Ten years of care. A milestone birthday. And a whole lot to celebrate. 💙

Today, Tammy Knox spent part of her 60th birthday with Amber Foster for her annual wellness visit! After 10 years together, their connection reflects something we cherish at Our Family Health: caring for our patients means getting to know them, walking through life with them, and celebrating their milestones along the way.

Annual wellness visits are a chance to look at the big picture of your health, discuss concerns, and plan for preventive care—so you can keep showing up for the life you love.

Fatty liver disease is becoming increasingly common—and many people don’t even know they have it.

In this episode of Between Two White Coats, Dr. Michelle Plaster and Nurse Practitioner Amber Foster break down what causes fatty liver, how metabolic health, diabetes, weight, and diet can impact your liver, and why this often-silent condition deserves more attention.

They also explain FibroScan, a noninvasive technology that can measure liver fat and fibrosis and help identify liver disease earlier—when there may still be an opportunity to reverse the damage.
