💙 What is Tip-A-Cop? 💙

Tip-A-Cop is a special fundraising event where local law enforcement officers volunteer as "celebrity waiters" to help raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Louisiana. This fun community event brings together law enforcement, local businesses, Special Olympics athletes, and community members to support inclusion and opportunity for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, show support, and recognize the impact Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia have on individuals and families. At CareSolutions, we believe everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and understanding. Together, we can help create a more supportive and inclusive community for those affected while encouraging the importance of brain health and early awareness. 💜

This award is so well deserved. Ms. Cynthia works tirelessly to support, encourage, and advocate for our athletes every day. Her dedication, patience, kindness, and love for what she does truly make a difference in the lives of everyone around her.

She goes above and beyond to make sure our athletes feel confident, included, and celebrated — not just during competitions, but every day. The relationships she has built and the impact she continues to make is something really special.

We are beyond thankful for everything Ms. Cynthia does for Care Solutions and our athletes. Congratulations again on this amazing honor and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving! ❤️

One of the highlights of our trip to Hammond was getting to participate in the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program! 💙

Healthy Athletes is designed to help individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities receive important health screenings, wellness education, and support in a positive and welcoming environment. Our athletes were able to take part in hearing, vision, dental, and other health screenings while learning more about staying healthy and active.

It was so great seeing everyone interact with the volunteers, encourage one another, and step outside of their comfort zones. Programs like this help athletes feel supported, confident, and included while also making healthcare more accessible.

We are thankful to everyone who helped make this experience possible and for all of the volunteers and healthcare workers who treated our athletes with such kindness and care. ❤️

Care Solutions had an amazing time traveling to Hammond, Louisiana for the Special Olympics Louisiana Summer Games! 💙🏅

Our athletes worked so hard, showed incredible sportsmanship, and made us proud every step of the way. The Special Olympics gives individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to compete, build confidence, make friendships, and be celebrated for their accomplishments both on and off the field.

From competing in events to cheering each other on, this trip was full of excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of every athlete who participated and represented Care Solutions so well!

- Sara Burch and Ginger Adkinson: 3rd Place.

25m and 50m Races:
- Terry Belk: 1st in 25m and 1st in 50m.
- James Jackson: 2nd in 25m and 3rd in 50m.
- David Smith: 2nd in 25m and 3rd in 50m.
- Gary Lupo: 2nd in 25m and 4th in 50m.
- Evan: 1st in 50m.
