"Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" is an unauthorized play by Bert V. Royal that reimagines the innocent characters of the "Peanuts" comic strip as angst-ridden, troubled high schoolers. The story follows a teenager named CB as he spirals into an existential crisis. Don't miss the ULM Theatre production this October! Stay tuned to VAPA social media for more information!

This week, ULM Music Education students welcomed Dr. Kathryn Irwin to Elementary Methods for a lecture. Dr. Irwin taught elementary music in Florida before pursuing her doctorate and joining the ULM faculty as the head of the ULM Percussion studio and SOT Drum Line.

We also had the first meeting of our Lab Band. Lab ensembles give our senior music education students an opportunity to hone their rehearsal and conducting skills before they begin their full-time residency in the spring semester. Our conductors this semester are Lauren Grant, Brock Griffin, and Adam Samanie!
