🚌REMI- D TAKES A FIELD TRIP‼️
So the Remi-D crew took a little field trip over to Trill Studios Tattoo & Piercing in Snellville, owned by our childhood friend and classmate, AJ Capers.
And y'allllll. 🥹🫶🏽
We had the BEST time.
We literally just sat around, laughed, talked about life, tattoos, piercings, music, business, swapped recommendations, asked a million questions, learned some things from each other, and just VIBED.
No egos. No weird energy. No competition. Just a bunch of people who love what they do, hanging out with other people who love what THEY do.
CAN WE PLEASE NORMALIZE THIS?!
Because one thing we will NEVER understand is the weird animosity between tattoo shops.
Like, WHY ARE WE BEEFING?! 😭 LET US LOVE YOU, WE THINK YOUR TATTOOS ARE COOL! 😂
Listen, Somebody else having a booked schedule isn't taking appointments off yours. Somebody else being talented doesn't make you any less talented. And somebody else doing GOOD doesn't mean you're doing BAD.
We don't need somebody else's plate to be empty for ours to be full.
And we mean that with our whole chest.🫶🏽
We'll clap for you. We'll recommend you. We'll send somebody your way if we think you're the better fit. We'll ask you questions when you know something we don't, and we'll happily tell you what we know if it helps you.
Because WHY WOULDN'T WE?!
We don't know everything. You don't know everything. But between all of us, we probably know a whole hell of a lot. 😂
And while we're on our little soapbox, ✨SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES, Y'ALL.✨
Seriously.🥺
Not just the ones owned by your friends. Not just the people who spend money with you. Not just the businesses that can do something for you.
Support people because you know what it takes to get up every day and pour your whole heart, soul, bank account, and the last three functioning brain cells you have into something you're trying to build.
Being a small business owner is NOT for the weak.
And there's something really special about being able to sit down with somebody else who's in those same trenches and just TALK. No pretending you've got it all figured out. No measuring who's doing better. Just good people sharing good energy.
AJ and the whole Trill Studios crew, THANK Y'ALL for having us. We genuinely had the best time, and we love seeing what you've built. 🖤
Different shops. Different styles. Different stories. But all the SAME HUSTLE.
