I get so happy for clients when they send a text saying "I did it!".....that means they are practicing at home (so important and my goal for all clients) and that they have accomplished a goal for themselves. I am so happy for her!!! Congratulations!!! And there is so much more to come now lol. Thank you for allowing me to post this!

Exciting news!! I am now a certified children's yoga teacher through GOYA!! I will be certified with Yoga Alliance as well after 30 practical hours of sharing yoga with kids. GOYA is more globally recognized and is fairly new, and Yoga Alliance is more American based and has been accepted for many years.

Aging gracefully. 46 hasn't been that bad. I'm not saying that everyone can or should even try a head/forearm stand or many other advanced yoga poses. But you may be surprised with what you are able to do with time, patience, and proper training. It's always the journey that matters the most. I had to stop doing this pose when I was 40 after being able to for many years. It was so disappointing. About 5 months ago, I was able to slowly start trying again. I am unable to stay up anywhere near as long and my body is nowhere near as straight as it used to be. It's also more of a forearm stand instead of a headstand. It might never be what it used to be, but I'm okay with that. 46 isn't incredibly old, I do realize that, but how often do we tell ourselves that we are too old to try something new? Injuries and arthritis, medical issues, etc do need to be taken into account for sure, but just small things that you didn't think were possible that actually are might surprise you.
