📢 CJR-X Is Coming Nationwide

CMS has finalized CJR-X, expanding joint replacement bundling nationwide beginning January 1, 2028. With hospitals accountable for costs and quality through 90 days of post-acute care, SNF quality, rehospitalization rates, and length of stay will be more important than ever when hospitals select preferred post-acute partners.

SNFs should start preparing now to demonstrate strong outcomes and value to hospital partners.

📢 FY2027 QRP Non-Compliance Notices Are Available

Facilities should check their “My Reports” folder in iQIES as soon as possible for a QRP non-compliance notification. Facilities deemed non-compliant with CY2025 QRP reporting requirements may face a reduction in their FY2027 Medicare Part A rates beginning October 1, 2026.

⚠️ Received a non-compliance notice? Requests for reconsideration must be submitted to CMS no later than 11:59 PM on September 4, 2026. Review your notice carefully for reconsideration instructions and next steps.
