ANYONE can be affected by su***de, not just people with an existing mental health condition!!! Suicidal thoughts are not always present in people with mental illness, and not all people who attempt or die by su***de have chronic mental illness.

Suicidal thoughts can be brought on by many contributing factors such as:
- Relationship issues
- A loss of a loved one
- Eviction/loss of home
- Debilitating illness, trauma, sexual abuse
- Rejection
- and more
