Speaker Spotlight: Dr. Travis Frazier

We are thrilled to highlight one of our own home-grown health experts speaking at the 4th Annual Indigenous Men’s Health Conference on June 25, 2026, in Montezuma Creek! Welcome back to the region, Dr. Travis Frazier!

Dr. Frazier is a dedicated family physician and osteopathic specialist with the Utah Navajo Health System (UNHS). Raised right here in Blanding, Utah (and a proud 2006 graduate of San Juan High School!), his journey took him from Brigham Young University to the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. After completing a specialized Family Medicine residency and an advanced fellowship in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine out in Maine, he has returned home to serve our communities.

A Comprehensive Approach to Healing Dr. Frazier brings a unique, holistic care model to UNHS. By merging traditional family medicine with:
- Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy (OMT)
- Medical Acupuncture
- Integrative Medicine

He is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, hands on healthcare that treats the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. We are honored to welcome Dr. Joseph Chee to the stage at the 4th Annual Indigenous Men’s Health Conference on June 25, 2026, in Montezuma Creek!
Dr. Chee is a revered Diné scholar, educator, and cultural advocate who has dedicated his life to restoring and sustaining Diné identity through language, education, and traditional knowledge. For decades, his work has inspired educators across the Navajo Nation to weave oral traditions and land-based learning into modern instruction.
- Presentation: Creating Peace & Balance with the Navajo Twin Hero Stories
- Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
In this essential session, Dr. Chee will guide us through understanding the principles of Diné self-identity through the Twin Hero Standards and Values. Through powerful storytelling and reflective dialogue, attendees from Montezuma Creek, Aneth, Red Mesa, Bluff, and our surrounding communities will discover actionable strategies to foster belonging, respect, and deep cultural pride.

As we look back on this monumental day in history, we recognize the enduring spirit, culture, and future of the communities we are so privileged to serve.
