Increasing Access to Care was the topic front and center Friday as Alabama Regional Medical Services celebrated the opening of its new Behavioral Health and Wellness Clinic in downtown Birmingham.

Congratulations to Dr. Ted Greer, Jr. and his team for this new care facility to serve this important community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 🤍

May we use this time as a reminder to slow down, check in with ourselves and others, and give ourselves the same kindness and compassion we often give to everyone else.

Taking care of your mental health is taking care of your health. Rest when you need to, ask for help when you need it, and remember that your well being matters too.

Today, members of Alabama Primary Health Care Association had a great time attending Healthcare Heroes Day hosted by Family Health/Mobile County Health Department! 💙

Our very own Dodey Roughton shared valuable hypertension management strategies using the AMA MAP framework, along with data highlighting the incredible work their health centers are doing to improve outcomes across the communities they serve. Amber King was also ready to answer questions and provide insight on the AZARA Hypertension Dashboards and how they can support quality improvement efforts across health centers.
