If you’ve been using CeraVe’s acne products, you may have seen the news L’Oréal (CeraVe’s parent company) is currently facing six class-action lawsuits after independent lab testing found that their benzoyl peroxide-based acne cleansers may degrade into benzene, a known human carcinogen, especially when exposed to heat like body temperature or warm bathroom storage.
