On Juneteenth, we honor freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of those who came before us. We celebrate the diversity that enriches our nursing home family and the compassion our staff bring to residents every day.

We also thank Heart and Soul Hospice for sponsoring our float bar for the staff today.

Such a busy day for everyone. We had church with Pine Grove M.B church pastor Rev Shirley Washington, art and crafts with Volunteers from Big Bend Hospice. We also had such a special treat of performances by the cast of The Little Mermaid Jr. This cast is performing at Monticello Opera House this weekend for Watermelon Festival.

We truly appreciate everyone who invests themselves in the life of our residents and staff.

It’s a busy and fun week in our home. We are celebrating and honoring our wonderful Certified Nursing Assistants for National CNA Week. We started our week by rolling out the red carpet to Michael Jackson tunes and then danced our way to Under The Sea. More to come in the days ahead. We love our CNA’s. They are the ♥️ of caring.

We truly appreciate our Life Enrichment team for preparing our phenomenal seafood delights.

Our Staff Engagement Team has been working very hard to plan and implement all of our celebrations.

We have been too busy lovin’ life to post on fb. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment and share it later.

We are so thankful for people in our community who love us and share their time with us. We had a full day of pampering with some Mary Kay friends in the morning doing facials and make up, stretching into the afternoon with friends from the Corrections Department volunteering to do hair and nails.

We ended our week with a birthday party celebration for all May birthdays. 🎉

🦘🏈 Nursing Home Week – Day 3 (posting a day late) Sports Teams & Grilling! 🌭❤️
Today was another fun-filled day of celebrating Nursing Home Week at Brynwood! Our residents and staff had a wonderful time enjoying some very special visitors from D&J Exotics. A huge thank you to Danny for bringing such amazing animals for everyone to see and interact with. From a sweet baby raccoon to adorable wallabies and other exotic friends, the smiles and excitement were priceless! 🦝🦘🐾
We also want to give a big shout-out to our incredible Maintenance Team for grilling up delicious food for all of our staff. 🌭👏 Your hard work helped make the day extra special!
And thank you to our awesome Dietary Department for preparing tasty hamburgers for our residents to enjoy. 🍔❤️ We appreciate everything you do to help create memorable moments for those we care for.
Nursing Home Week continues to remind us how blessed we are to have such dedicated staff, supportive partners, and joyful experiences to share with our residents each day.
