After years of hard work, planning, and dedication your Lawrence County Fire Fighters conducted a water flow test with the Mississippi Rating Bureau. This could possibly mean lower rates for the citizens. Lifeguard EMS was there to support our fire fighters, and to provide medical coverage. We are proud of the hard work, and what we know was a successful effort.

Lifeguard Southern Mississippi proudly presents Mississippi’s newest Paramedics: Danielle Bourn and Dustin Lucas. Not only did they both graduate last night from Jones College’s Paramedic program, Dustin was the Clinical Award winner, and Danielle was the Academic award winner. To make the night even more special, our very own Paramedic Joey Freeman was selected as the Preceptor of the Year. We are so proud of these three. Our crews got to spend time with US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith today. We were onsite to celebrate with Lawrence Hospital at their ground breaking for a significant remodel that will allow them to better serve our community.

Lifeguard is proud of our strong partnership with Georgia Pacific where we have a medical operation that consists of occupational nursing and emergency response personnel. This team supports daily operations, assists with worker’s compensation case management, emergency response, and assists with specialized activities such as confined space and high angle. Our industrial teams have the ability to fully integrate.
