Have you heard of a nesting party? 🪺

Because I’m convinced it’s the best thing ever.
We supplied my sweet friends (and my mom! Can’t believe we didn’t get a picture of that ANGEL!) with snacks + copious amounts of Disney songs, and we all put in some time prepping my house for this little babe. 👶🏼

We meal-prepped, organized, broke down cardboard boxes, wood-filled holes, and just had a dang good time.

I was very clear that this was a low-stakes event from the get-go. Saturdays are precious. If you are tired or busy, no pressure, stay home - still love ya! You can only come for twenty minutes? Amazing! Thanks so much!

I would LOVE to show up for my friends in such a way, and feel so honored that they felt the same. ❤️

The new baby product market is overwhelming. Most of the time, my opinion falls towards “less-is-more” in terms of all the gadgets and toys available.

Here are a few of the swaps I’m making as a soon-to-be momma who takes care of little ones everyday in my office who are often struggling with latch issues, movement milestones, colic, constipation, and sleep.

I PASSED 🥳🥳

Gestational diabetes is a tricky beast, and sometimes you can do everything “right” and still end up with a positive test.
Which feels super unfair.
BUT we can still give our bodies the best chance by implementing some key strategies to decrease the risk.

And remember: Even if you end up with a gestational diabetes diagnoses, the work you put in prior to and during pregnancy is never wasted effort. You’ve still done your best to give your body and your baby the support they need to get through this demanding season and come out the other side nourished and empowered!
