FOODiversity Preventing Hunger & Medical Emergencies
through education, support and increased access To donate: https://bit.ly/GiveSafeFOOD

The risk of hunger is REAL.

FOODiversity (EIN 86-2607349 ) is a registered 501(c)(3); all donations further the vision and are fully tax-deductible. FOODiversity's mission: To lessen the burden of food insecurity for individuals with food allergy, celiac disease, alpha-gal syndrome and other food-related conditions

FOODiversity's 3 Areas of Focus:

1. Raising awareness
by shining a light on health disparities

2.

Providing educational and financial support
FOODiversity is the central hub,
cinching together organizations that
are known as key service providers in
the food allergy and celiac disease
communities. FOODiversity’s partners become the
hub, the providers of resources. FOODiversity bolsters its partners’
services with philanthropy. It truly takes a village, and
FOODiversity has created one.

3. Increasing access to resources
For people to thrive - with food
allergy, food intolerance, or celiac
disease - resources are crucial. FOODiversity is the connection to
resources, for the people who need
them most. For additional information: [email protected]

We are honored to be part of this collaborative effort, bringing together dedicated organizations committed to raising awareness, strengthening protections, and amplifying community voices. Many thanks to Food Allergy Research & Education for producing this powerful PSA, and to Thomas Silvera of Elijah-Alavi Foundation for scripting such a meaningful message: when we work together and speak as one, we become stronger advocates and changemakers.

On World Hunger Day, we’re reminded that hunger looks different for everyone. For people with food allergies and celiac disease, the challenge is even greater: fewer safe options, higher risks, and limited access to food they can trust.

FOODiversity addresses this challenge through our mission and programs. We believe everyone deserves access to food that nourishes, protects, and supports their well-being.

Earlier this month, Mackenzie, FOODiversity’s Director of Programs & Development, traveled to Capitol Hill to meet with legislators and advocate for the food allergy and asthma community.

Thank you to the Allergy & Asthma Network for inviting FOODiversity to the 2026 Social Advocates Summit and Allergy & Asthma Day on Capitol Hill. It was an incredible opportunity to reconnect with advocates from across the country, discuss the latest research and policy priorities, and continue pushing for meaningful change.

Tune in to FAACT's Roundtable Podcast on Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) & Food Allergies

Safe eating is at the heart of managing food allergies—but what happens when that vigilance starts to feel overwhelming, and food becomes a source of fear instead of nourishment? For many families, the line between necessary caution and something more serious can be hard to recognize. We are diving into the intersection of food allergies and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, or ARFID. Joining us is Dr. Brian Vickery, Division Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University, and Kaitlin B. Proctor, PhD, Assistant Professor at Emory School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, and board-certified psychologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to unpack what this means for families and share insights from Dr. Vickery's latest research.
