Join Laura’s Village for our September Village Workshop—three mornings filled with friendship, purpose, creativity, and community! 💙
Designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), this hands-on workshop gives participants the opportunity to build friendships, strengthen life skills, discover their unique abilities, and experience the joy of serving others. 🤝✨
Together, we’ll complete meaningful service projects benefiting several amazing local nonprofits:
📚 Promising Pages – Preparing literacy-related items to support children
🥪 Bags of Hope – Assembling snack bags for children experiencing food insecurity
💌 Little Smiles – Creating cards to bring comfort and joy to children
🐾 Council on Aging – Making pet toys for the precious pets of homebound seniors
Along the way, participants will practice teamwork, communication, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and community engagement—all while discovering that everyone has unique gifts to share. 💙
