BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that contributes to moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet in adults. Results may begin appearing in 1–2 days, with full results in about 30 days, and can last up to 4 months. (BOTOX®⁠)

Both are prescription treatments that should be administered by a qualified medical professional, and your provider can help determine which treatment is appropriate for your goals.

💅 What Is Your Skin Trying to Tell You?

Your nails can tell you more than you might think.

Changes in your nails are sometimes harmless—but they can also be associated with infections, psoriasis, eczema, injury, or other medical conditions. In rare cases, a nail change can be a sign of melanoma.

🔎 Changes worth having evaluated include:
• A new or changing dark streak or band
• A nail that begins splitting or lifting
• New discoloration or pigment changes
• Thickening, crumbling, or changes in nail shape
• Persistent swelling, bleeding, pain, or a bump around or underneath the nail

One important warning sign is a new or changing dark streak in a single fingernail or toenail. Not every dark streak is melanoma, but a dermatologist can determine whether it needs further evaluation. (American Academy of Dermatology⁠)

And remember: nail melanoma doesn’t always cause pain. That’s why noticing changes and having them evaluated is important. (American Academy of Dermatology⁠)

Take a moment to look at your fingernails and toenails. 👀
