NEWS FLASH: COASTAL STORM ALERT 🚨��With coastal storm conditions impacting the Outer Banks and Currituck County, Mountaineer Home Medical encourages patients who rely on oxygen, ventilators, PAP devices, nebulizers, suction equipment, or other essential DME/respiratory equipment to prepare for possible power outages, flooding, road closures, and travel disruptions.��🌊 Patients & Caregivers:�Please make sure your equipment is charged, backup batteries are ready, and you have adequate supplies on hand. Oxygen-dependent and ventilator-dependent patients should review their emergency backup plan now and follow any evacuation instructions issued by local emergency management.��⚡ If the power goes out:�Use your prescribed backup equipment according to your emergency plan. Never use generators, grills, or other fuel-burning devices inside your home, garage, or other enclosed areas.��🚚 Deliveries & Service:�Severe weather, flooding, high winds, or road closures may affect normal delivery and service routes throughout Currituck and the Outer Banks. Our team will prioritize urgent respiratory and medically necessary equipment needs while keeping patients and staff safe.��📞 Don’t wait until conditions worsen.
